The "Adults Only" tee by MENACE © was inspired by the sexual revolution of the 60's. In the 60's the social attitude towards sex shifted from conservative views to a much more open approach to sex, especially in women. Sex outside of marriage was becoming acceptable during this time and with the help of rock n' roll, women as a whole became much more sexualized. Before the 60's it was very uncommon to find a topless - let alone full nude - bar in the United States as this practice was banned; but in 1964 the Condor Night Club opened as a topless bar only to debut again as a bottomless bare 5 years later. This launched the explicit full nudity in stipclubs/bars in America.
