Alain Prost (left) & Ayrton Senna (right) became teammates under the McLaren Formula One team in 1989 and although the two hated each other due to conflicts on and off the racetrack, they went on to win a record 4 and 3 titles under the McLaren team respectively. In one incident at the Japanese Grand Prix in 1989, Prost is thought to have purposely collided with Senna. Then after, Prost used his political power within the sport to have Senna suspended and fined for the illegal move of re-entering the race after the crash. The duo is regarded as one of the greatest rivalries (and teams) in sports history.
